My name is Jennifer Bloomingdale, I graduated from the College of St. Rose in 2006 with my Bachelors in Childhood Education. The next school year I was hired as a 5th Grade Teacher at the Mettawee Community School in West Pawlet, Vermont. Through my time at Mettawee I discovered a passion for integrating technology into my instruction. At that point I decided to get my Masters in Educational Technology from the College of St. Rose, which I completed in May 2011. You can find examples of projects I completed with my students and more information about my classroom practices in my digital portfolio.
I am currently an ecourse facilitator for Powerful Learning Practice. Where my courses focus on integrating technology tools and 21st Century Skills.
The goal of this blog is share resources and ideas for the classroom that relate to 21st Century Skills, Common Core, ISTE NETS and technology tools. If you have any ideas that you would like to see covered, please feel free to contact me.
